Dear 10th and 11th grade students and families,
The Mount Baker High School counseling department will be holding a mandatory meeting for all students and families who are interested in receiving college credit through either the College in the High School, Running Start, or CTE Dual Credit programs for the 2024-2025 school year.
The meeting will take place in person in the high school auditorium on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is to provide valuable information that we feel all students need when considering which college credit program is the best fit for their post high school plan. Some of the topics we will cover include:
College in the High School;
Running Start: enrollment process, credits, costs, scheduling, etc.;
CTE Dual Credit;
Sports eligibility;
Meeting MBHS graduation requirements;
Communicating with your counselor/staying informed of events at MBHS.
This meeting is the best way to efficiently disseminate important information therefore we are requiring your attendance. If you are unable to meet with us on the 27th, please contact your counselor at 360-383-2015 or by email. Remember, this is a mandatory meeting for all students and families interested in dual credit programs!
11th grade students currently participating in a dual credit program do not have to attend this meeting.
Thank you very much,
MBHS Counseling Department
