The Nooksack River Stewards program, in partnership with the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest educates residents and visitors about wild salmon, native fish populations, and the Nooksack River watershed. Our naturalists share the wonder of our National Forest along with stewardship practices that reduce negative impacts to salmon and salmon habitat.
NSEA aims to show how collective action can help salmon recovery goals that residents and visitors can take with them long after leaving the National Forest.
Events are every weekend from July-September. All events are free and open to the public.
