CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED
Two director positions on the Mount Baker School Board are up for election in November 2021:
- District 1 (yellow in the map below); and
- District 4 (purple in the map below).
Although board directors (members) must reside in the district area that they represent, each board member represents the entire School District.
What's involved? The Mount Baker School Board meets 2-3 times per month, with additional meetings and activities throughout the year. These include regional meetings, state conferences, school visits, graduation and attending extra curricular activities.

This year in Washington State, candidate filing period begins May 17 and ends May 21. A candidate must be a registered voter in Washington State - see the State Candidate’s Guide for specific requirements. Contact the Whatcom County Auditor’s Election Division to determine whether you live in either District 1 or District 4.
