The Parent Leadership Training Institute and the Children's Leadership Training Institute are free 12-week online courses for kids (ages 6-12) and parents, teaching leadership, civics, literacy, and public speaking. Participants learn how to bring positive changes to their schools and communities and to develop and implement a community project that benefits other children and families. Adults can earn college credits, and kids receive books to grow their home libraries. Offered by Washington Family Engagement in partnership with the Everett Community College.
