A Free Training Series for Parents and Caregivers
Has your child told you they are gay, transgender, or nonbinary? Are you nervous about how to respond or support them? Are you scared about what all this might mean for your kiddo?
You aren’t alone! Join other parents, caregivers, and family members as we learn together about proven ways to help LGBTQ+ youth feel deeply loved and accepted at home.

What’s involved?
- Two 2-hour evening workshops, at four separate locations around the county
- Latest research on LGBTQ+ youth well-being shared by Page from The Common Goodness Project, a local expert in LGBTQ+ youth
- Opportunities to connect with other parents and caregivers
- Local resources for LGBTQ+ youth and their families
Who should attend?
- Anyone with an LGBTQ+ or questioning young person in their care who is looking for support to make this young person feel seen, welcome, and deeply loved.
When and where are the Workshops?
- Lynden | May 31st and June 1st, 5:30-7:30 PM
- Ferndale | June 6th and 7th, 5:30-7:30 PM
- Blaine | June 13th and 14th, 5:30-7:30 PM
- Deming | June 21st and 22nd, 5:30-7:30 PM
