In 1952, U.S. Secretary of Commerce created National Secretaries Week; the National Secretaries Association with the support of corporate groups created National Secretaryās Day.
In 1955, both of these events were moved to April. Then, in 1981 the word āSecretaryā was replaced with the words āProfessional Secretaries.ā Then, in 2000, the name was changed again to āAdministrative Professionals.ā The name change reflected the changing role of this profession and includes more people.
Thank you Mount Baker Administrative Professionals for all you do for our district!
