ABOUT #OneBakerVoice
#OneBakerVoice represents youth clubs composed of students from grades 9 through 12 at MBHS. These passionate youth seek to service and create positive change their community.
The mission of this group is to educate and advocate with our peers about the harms associated with substance misuse, such as its impacts on mental health. We share about the risks of use while reducing stigma and promoting mental health through community connection.
Formed in the Fall of 2018, #OBV has adapted over time for the needs of the community and members. Members of the board participate in coalition meetings, representing the youth sector of the community, and work on social norming campaigns, peer education and community service.
